Working with the print list

The Asset Management Module print list is a temporary list of documents that you can print as a batch, such as to accompany a work order. The print list works similar to the Windows Clipboard. You can add multiple documents to the list that are related to different assets and then print them all at one time. For information about adding documents to the print list, see Adding documents to the print list.

Note    The Print List icon is similar to, but different from, the Add to Print List icon . Be sure that you click the correct icon, depending on the action that you want to perform.

To view the print list:

1. On the Linked Documents page, click the Print List icon in the upper right corner of the page. The Meridian Print List dialog appears and lists the documents that have been added to the print list.
2. Click OK to close the print list without printing.

To clear the print list:

1. On the Linked Documents page, click the Print List icon in the upper right corner of the page. The Meridian Print List dialog appears and lists the documents that have been added to the print list.
2. Click Clear. The print list is cleared.
3. Click OK to close the print list without printing.

To print the documents on the print list:

1. On the Linked Documents page, click the Print List icon in the upper right corner of the page. The Meridian Print List dialog appears and lists the documents that have been added to the print list.
2. Select the output device where you want to print the documents.
3. Click Print. The documents are submitted for printing and the list is cleared.
4. Click OK to close the print list.

Note    The output devices that are available to the print list must be configured specifically for each customer’s installation as described in the BlueCielo Meridian Asset Management Module Administrator’s Guide.
